Enjoy fun, educational experiences this summer with the Coastal Discovery Museum!
Children’s groups—camps, daycares, clubs, and more — can take part in a variety of activities, either at the museum, offsite, or at your location. Sessions run 30–45 minutes for younger groups and 45–60 minutes for older ones.
Planning a visit with your group? Whether for a program or a self-guided tour, reservations are required.

Discover a wide variety of fascinating beach critters, learn about what lives in seashells, and investigate the lives of beach visitors like sea turtles and horseshoe crabs. Experience the amazing lives of these incredible insects by examining eggs, live caterpillars, chrysalises, and adult butterflies in our outdoor butterfly habitat! Learn about the different plants that butterflies rely on for survival and create a “seed bomb” to take home and plant.
