Discover the fascinating world of insects at the Coastal Discovery Museum! Explore specially designed habitats like the butterfly enclosure, the dragonfly pond, the carnivorous plant garden, the insect house, and the beehive. Long-time staff members Carlos Chacon, Manager of Natural History, and Dawn Brut, Director of Education, will guide you through the Museum's insect attractions. This is a short walking tour on uneven terrain.

Get hands-on with the Coastal Discovery Museum’s live animal ambassadors, including alligators, turtles, and horseshoe crabs. Visit the Discovery Lab with Environmental Educator Amanda Ballantyne, and learn about the care and housing of these animals. You might even get to touch a few! This exciting indoor experience is perfect for learning about the museum’s animal care in a fun and interactive way.
