Beach House Hilton Head Island Donates to Coastal Discovery Museum

SEPTEMBER 7TH, 2023

Hilton Head Island, SC – Coastal Discovery Museum is thrilled to announce that, for the second consecutive year, it has received a generous and heartfelt donation from Beach House Hilton Head Island. Jay Wiendl, General Manager of the Beach House at Hilton Head Island, expressed the motivation behind their continued support, saying, “Beach House Hilton Head Island chose to donate to Coastal Discovery Museum because of the impact it makes on both our Lowcountry residents and our Island visitors. With the exhibits, tours and events that they provide, they not only serve as educators of history but also help to create good stewards for our region.”

Rex Garniewicz, President of Coastal Discovery Museum, conveyed the museum’s gratitude for Beach House Hilton Head Island's support, remarking, "We are so grateful to Beach House Hilton Head Island’s donation for the second year in a row! Their generous gift will help us continue providing educational experiences for our community and visitors. We are committed to inspiring people to care for the Lowcountry, and this donation will allow us to do even more to achieve our mission. Thank you again for your support!" Coastal Discovery Museum is one of four recipients of the organization’s generosity this year along with The Deep Well Project, Second Helpings, and Historic Mitchelville Freedom Park.
