Archaeology Camp | Coastal Discovery Museum

Archaeology is the crossroads between history and science and is the perfect tool to help us learn more about those who shaped our world for us. Coastal Discovery Museum is embarking on a new journey through time to find the people who lived and worked on Historic Honey Horn whose Gullah descendants still live and work on Hilton Head Island today. Our 2024 Archaeology season will include excavations, archival work, public demonstrations, and presentations, and both a Kids and Adult Archaeology Camp for folks who really want to dive into the dirt.
