JELLYFISH LANTERN
WORKSHOP

Join the tradition and make your own paper jellyfish lantern for Hilton Head Island’s beloved Lantern Parade! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll use colorful paper, ribbon, and lights to craft a whimsical jellyfish lantern— just in time for the November 22 Lantern Parade on the beach. Museum staff will provide step-by-step guidance and all the supplies you need.

Space is limited, and only registered participants will be admitted into the program area. Ages 13 and older, please. There is a family-friendly lantern workshop on Nov 15.

$40 per adult (ages 13+) – includes 1 lantern kit.

This workshop is your chance to craft a unique lantern with guidance from our museum staff. We provide all the necessary supplies—including the lights. Just bring your creativity and get ready to light up the beach during Hilton Head’s annual Lantern Parade on November 22.

CAMELLIA BUDS AND LEAVES
WATERCOLOR WORKSHOP
January 24, 2026/9:30 am – 4 pm

Spend a day with certified botanical watercolor artist Linda Warner Constantino and immerse yourself in the beauty of camellias. After walking through our renowned Manske Camellia Garden, you’ll move indoors, where you’ll learn to draw and paint camellias, also known as the winter rose.

All supplies provided, though you may bring your own. Basic drawing skills required. Please bring your own lunch, snacks, and beverage.
