LANTERN MAKING
WORKSHOPS Nov 15, 2025 – Two sessions: 10-11:30am and 2-3:30pm
Get ready for Hilton Head Island’s Lantern Parade on November 22 with this hands-on workshop where everyone—from kids to grown-ups—can make lanterns and have fun together.
All materials — including lights — are provided, and museum staff will be on hand to help you create your own 8" x 12" lanterns.
We recommend no more than two people per lantern, but larger groups are welcome to work together. A registered adult must accompany all children. Only registered participants will be admitted into the workshop area.
Cost: $20 per lantern. $5 per adult (ages 4+). Free for children ages 3 and under.
Space is limited—register early to be part of this community tradition!

Need to cancel? No problem—just let us know at least 72 hours in advance, and we’ll refund your payment (minus a $5 admin fee). We’re not able to offer refunds for cancellations made within 72 hours of the event.
