Cocktails & Camellias Returns to Benefit the Coastal Discovery Museum

December 11, 2025

Hilton Head Island, SC The Coastal Discovery Museum, a Smithsonian Affiliate, will host Cocktails & Camellias on Friday, February 6, 2026, bringing guests into the heart of historic Honey Horn’s blooming camellia garden, all in support of the Museum’s mission to inspire people to care for the Lowcountry’s natural and cultural heritage.

Cocktails & Camellias pairs the beauty of the Manske Camellia Garden and Mary Ann Peeples Pavilion with live jazz, specialty cocktails, custom small plates, and one-of-a-kind auction experiences.

Funds raised directly support the Museum’s year-round educational programs, workshops, exhibitions, and tours, and help keep admission to the Museum and grounds free.

“Cocktails & Camellias brings the community together to support the Coastal Discovery Museum and our 40 years of preserving the history and natural beauty of this island that we all love,” said Rex Garniewicz, President and CEO. “It’s a party with a purpose: great cocktails, great food, and great auction items in one of Hilton Head’s most beautiful settings.”

The event runs from 5 to 8 pm, with a Champagne Garden Tour at 4:30 pm. Tickets are $150 per person. Attire: festive or floral. Details and tickets: coastaldiscovery.org/cc
