inflatable rides for all ages and games, including a new soccer arena with a
giant ball, an obstacle course and many more. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be

drinks available. The Beaufort County Sheriff's Department will be on hand with
the Ident-A-Kid program both evenings and on Saturday night they will have the
canine unit and traffic units on hand. Also partnering with the Museum this
year is the Hilton Head Island Home Builders Assoc. with their "mysterious"
coffin that is always lots of fun. Members of the Lowcountry Society of
Magicians will be strolling the grounds looking for kids of all ages to share
their magic with. The Friends of the Hilton Head Library will tell campfire
stories in a special area and Bluffton Today is having a newspaper throwing
contest as you get your picture taken for their website! There will be
something for every age to enjoy!
This festival is an opportunity for
the community to see what the Town owned 68 acres offers in becoming the
cultural and environmental complex for the Coastal Discovery Museum in the
future. Honey Horn is home to several historic barns and structures. The main
house at Honey Horn was started in 1859 and used, as a private hunting lodge
starting in 1890 and eventually became the home to the Hack family in 1950.
Admission to the festival is $10.00 per vehicle and you will receive
$5.00 worth of tickets for food and activities. Admission for Museum members is
free, with individual tickets available for purchase of food, beverages and
activities.
