BLUE CRAB DISCOVERY
	Visit the marshes of Jarvis Creek with a Museum docent to learn about the life cycle and importance of the Atlantic Blue Crab. Participants will have the hands-on experience of harvesting, cooking, picking and tasting meat from Blue Crabs Reservations required. 843-689-6767 ext 223 Programs will start May 1, 2012 Adult $15, Child $10 Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 am at Honey Horn
SEA TURTLES ON HILTON HEAD
View additional Turtle Information	June through August A special guided tour offered June through the end of August, is the Evening Turtle Talk and Walk. This tour is designed to give participants information about the nationally threatened species, loggerhead sea turtles. Participating in one of these programs is one of the safest ways of viewing this species and learning how to help protect this threatened species. They are protected by State and Federal Laws, and the Museum staff is trained in the proper procedures to follow during the turtle season.
